Purpose

The purpose of the Veterinary Science CDE is to promote college and career readiness by providing opportunities to develop technical knowledge and demonstrate practical skills in the field of veterinary science.

What students do: Each student demonstrates an animal handling and restraint procedure and a clinical procedure, and takes a written exam. Teams of four identify equipment and materials, parasites (including under a microscope), and animal breeds and species.
