Purpose

The purpose of the Marketing Plan CDE is to help students develop practical marketing skills by creating and presenting a marketing plan for an agricultural product, supply, or service.

What students do: Teams of three write a marketing plan of up to nine pages that addresses a real-world business objective, and submit it before the event; any number of students may help develop the plan. Teams whose written plans are complete are invited to present the plan to judges and answer their questions.

Marketing Plan Submission

Submit your team's Marketing Plan via the following form.  The optional (but recommended) draft version is due no later than February 6, 2027. Final Marketing Plans must be resubmitted no later than March 7, 2027. Submissions after these dates will not be accepted.  Only plans submitted through this form will be accepted.  You will receive an emailed receipt for each plan. If multiple plans are submitted, the later submission will be graded. Teams must also be registered for the Marketing Plan CDE via the CDE registration system by the registration deadline, or else the team will be disqualified. Submit your plan here.
